H. Craig Singleton, D.M.A.![]() Professor of Music and Chair Dr. Singleton joined the faculty of Dominican University in 1997 as the Chair of the Department of Music and Performing Arts. For the previous thirteen years, he served as director of the Dixon School of Church Music at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. He has performed in voice and choral conducting in several states, Costa Rica, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea. Education:Doctor of Musical Arts, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky, majors in voice and music education, minor in music theory, 1980. Master of Music in Music Education with Kodaly Emphasis, Holy Names College, Oakland, California, 1990 (post doctoral). Master of Church Music, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky, with concentrations in voice and music education, 1976. Bachelor of Arts, Samford University, Birmingham, Alabama, with majors in music and religion, 1973. Additional study at the Vigado Redoute in Budapest, Hungary, summer 1989.
