Rehearsals:

Rehearsals on Tuesday November 1, November 8 and November 15 (with orchestra) will be at 7pm- 9:30pm for everyone at Angelico Hall.    Please arrive by 6:45pm.

5:00-7pm             Rehearsal with Orchestra

 Monday, November 21st at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Petaluma:

7pm                    Rehearsal  (Please arrive by 6:30pm)

8pm                    Concert

Concert Dress:

WomenLong (to the floor) black skirts, pants, or dresses to the floor.  Long sleeve black blouses or tops, black shoes and black stockings.  NO FRAGRANCES or jewelry, please!

Men: Tuxedos, or black suits, white shirts, and black bow ties.  NO FRAGRANCES PLEASE!  

 Music

Be sure to put your music in a BLACK folder/binder.

 Concert Ushers

Please ask your friends and family if they can usher for us. Their arrival time is 7:15 (free tickets for ushers!). Give names and email addresses to Dolores Manuel,  manuelpd@comcast.net.

Donations:

Please donate to support our orchestra and soloists.  Please make checks payable to Dominican University with "DUWBC" in the memo line.  Checks and completed donation forms go to Dick Wuopio.

 Set Up/Take Down:

Everyone is invited to help set up and take down the concerts.  Sign-up sheets will be posted during rehearsals. We need lots of help!

Thursday, November 17th  3:30pm – Load truck at Dominican, then 4:30 Set-up at St. Raphael’s.

Friday, November 18th   After the Concert-- take-down and load truck.

Monday, November 21st  4:30pm-- set-up at St. Vincent’s, and AFTER the concert--take-down and load truck.

WE REALLY NEED HELPERS BACK AT DOMINICAN AFTER THE PETALUMA CONCERT

CDs:

CD’s of the concert will be available for purchase.  They will cost $17 each which includes postage. 

All  CD orders must be paid for in advance.  Please make checks payable to Dominican University with "DUWBC" in the memo line.  Checks and completed CD forms go to Dick Wuopio.                                                                                                       

Food:           

On Friday evening, November 18th, we will have a potluck dinner before the concert in St. Raphael’s church hall.  Please sign-up to bring fingerfood for Friday evening.  Sign-up sheets will be posted in the foyer of Angelico Hall during rehearsals.  Please respect these beautiful churches and remember that there is no food allowed in the churches.                                             

Parking:

Please try to carpool to both St. Raphael’s and St. Vincent’s.  As with many churches, parking is limited.                     

Directions to St. Vincent’s:

Take 101 North to East Washington exit.

Turn left at the stop light onto to East Washington.

Continue on East Washington all the way through Petaluma until Howard St.

Turn left on Howard Street.  Continue for two blocks to English Street.

The Church is on your left at the intersection of Howard and English Streets.

 There is a free public parking garage two blocks from St. Vincent’s

Take 101 North to East Washington exit.

Turn left at the stop light onto to East Washington.

Continue on East Washington all the way through Petaluma until Keller Street.

(Keller Street is before Howard Street where the church is located.)

Turn left on Keller Street. 

The garage entrance is on your left half-way down the block.

From the garage to the church:

Walk out the garage’s car exit (on Keller Street).  Turn left and walk to the end of the block. 

Turn right on Western Avenue.  Walk one block.

Turn left on Liberty Street.  St. Vincent’s is across the street on your right.

 Concert Etiquette Reminders:

Please review these reminders.

v Enter/Exit the stage holding music in hand away from audience.      

v No talking on stage.

v Wait for direction from Craig to bring your music up into position.

v Hold your music up and always look up and out of your music         

v Have a vibrant and engaged look on your face.  Smile.

v Watch Craig at all times.

v Do not page through or follow the soloists.  Please paper clip solo pages together.

v Hold music up during solos.

v Wait for cut off and signal from Craig before lowering your music to your side.

v No clapping while on stage, or waving to friends.

v Please help assure that everyone can see Craig and that singers behind you have room to open their music.
